Brinell Hardness Tester Optical Scan System- Brinell Hardness Tester Scope

Model No. PHT-5000

This brinell hardness tester optical scan system, Includes the basic functions of an imaging system such as image capture, camera calibration, image processing, geometric measurement, document labeling, and album management; automatically or manually measures the indentation diameter and calculates the hardness HBW value; HB2 (DIN 1605 standard) automatic brinell hardness measurement: Automatically or manually measures the indentation diameters on the calibration sample and the test sample, and automatically interpolates the HBW value for the test sample; Converts HBW to other hardness scales—Validates the brinell hardness test results with sample dimensions; automatically updates the statistical values such as average, min and max, standard deviation,Cp and Cpk; Auto-alarm: Automatically marks the out of spec measurements; Test report: Automatically generates customizable WORD or EXCEL report.   Features:
  • Friendly User Interface: Automatic brinell hardness measurement with a key stroke or a click of a button;Test results can be manually generated or corrected with a single mouse drag move
  • High reliability: Advanced image processing and analysis technologies in automatic measurement. Field proven under severe sample surface conditions;
  • Single camera with four magnifications: 1.3M pixel CMOS USB camera with two camera tubes with each tube height having two magnifications. Full measurement range is covered with four magnifications for better measurement accuracy. Specifically, tube 1 magnification #1 is suitable for indentation diameters 3-6mm, magnification #2 for 0.8-1.6mm, while tube 2 magnification #3 for 2-4mm, and magnification #4 for 1-2mm. Four magnifications: For better measurement accuracy, the system provides two caps, i.e, two distances between sample and camera sensor, thus four magnifications to cover the Brinell indentation ranging from 1.2mm to 6.0mm. The 75mm cap provides magnification #1 that covers indentation diameters from 3 to 6mm (with indentation image between half and full image frame size), and magnification #2 from 0.8mm to 1.6mm. The 70mm cap provides magnification #3 that covers from 2 to 4mm and magnification #4 from 1 to 2mm. User may decide and change to either one of the 4 magnifications according the measured indentation size. If not specified, the system is shipped at the most often used magnification #3 (2-4mm). Measure: If the camera is still (e.g, after a measurement), push the camera button, or press the Space key on the keyboard, or click on the Video Preview button to start camera preview. Move the camera or the sample to make the indentation appear in the middle of the preview. Make the measurement as described above. Correct the measurement: If correction of measurement is needed, mouse press and drag the label circle (in case of Measure by circle) or the four vertices (in case of Measure by major-minor axes) to align the label with the indentation, and release. Measurement value and statistics etc will update automatically.
